Nice pub with good character. It can get crowded quite quickly but the main bar with open fire has a warm friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately it is hard to get a seat in this area but plenty of other seated areas just off this room. Nice pint of guinness served here.Would probably have got a 5 star rating for me except for the fact that it is hard to get a seat here if busy.

Very nice old style pub at the front and a modern outdoor area at the back. Didn't have food but everything was clean and toilets were spotless.
